Migration Agents Reference Manual - November 2007 Edition Now Available!

Although this reference manual was designed as an essential reference tool for practising migration agents, we know that it can also be an invaluable aid to entry level students studying the prescribed course (PC).

The spiral bound manual, which is published 3 times annually, has 5 sections and approximately 150 pages. It is fully revised after the major legislative change periods, which are usually March/April, July and October/November.

  • Section 1: Key References
  • This section provides current details of migration & other Commonwealth legislation, Gazette Notices & Legislative Instruments plus DIMA Fact Sheets, Forms and Booklets plus a listing of recent legislative changes.

  • Section 2: Legislation - Table of Contents
  • This section provides a consolidated listing for the Migration Act, plus the Migration Regulations, Migration Agents Regulations, the Australian Citizenship Act & the Australian Constitution.

  • Section 3: Glossary of defined terms, acronyms and abbreviations
  • This section provides a complete listing of the defined terms, acronyms and abbreviations, which have been extracted and formatted from the latest stack of the Migration Regulations on LEGENDcom.

  • Section 4: Visa tables
  • This section provides an alphabetical and numerical listing of visa classes and subclasses plus a summary of Schedule 1 data for each visa class.

  • Section 5: DIMA Form 990i - Fees
