This workshop will discuss the expansion of access to the Family Violence Provisions that have been expanded to include secondary applicant to some Family, Skilled and Business visas.

The Practical Complexities of Family Violence Cases
This session will take a practical look at how the family violence provisions operate in real migration matters. It will walk participants through the key legislative settings, common problem areas, evidence preparation and how these cases are approached in practice, drawing on real examples and recent decisions.
The session will finish with interactive case studies designed to build confidence and give attendees practical tools they can immediately apply in their own files.
