2024 was a big year of change for the Subclass 485 visa but it has taken some time for the policy documents to be updated to reflect these changes.

Join Lena Hung, MMIA, as we explore the current state of play for the Subclass 485 visa legislation and policy, including some of the nuances around the study required to meet the criteria for the Post Higher Education Work and Post Vocational Education Work streams. We will also discuss what options Subclass 485 visa holders have should they want to remain in Australia after the expiry of their visa.
